El Museo de Bellas Artes de Badajoz expone hasta el 12 de octubre una selección de 60 cuadros que van desde el siglo XVI a la actualidad.
En la exposición "La naturaleza muerta en la pintura extremeña" se exhiben hasta el 12 de diciembre más de 60 obras, ordenadas cronológicamente desde el siglo XVI hasta pintores extremeños en activo. Se trata de una selección de una treintena de nombres que practicaron este género pictórico con mayor o menos frecuencia.
La pintura de naturaleza muerta en Extremadura is reduced almost exclusively to the few artists still life and genre practiced regularly. Until recently, there has been the subject of academic evaluation, so their literature is sparse and mainly limited to exhibition catalogs.
