Interview with Edgardo Litvinoff

journalist interviewed here Edgardo Litvinoff, La Voz del Interior, who answers us with a true commitment about the current state of the media, and gives us his views on the relationship between Jewish people and Israel.
P / How do you explain to a non-Jew the link of the Jewish people, both religious person, and the nonreligious with the State of Israel?
I would say that this is a link that is linked to a history of the birth and development of the people, culture and identity link similar to the Italian League to Italy or the English in Spain. We also say that this is not a question of faith, and that the idea of \u200b\u200ba "Jewish national home" has similar roots to the concept of "nation" of all countries who were born in the twentieth century, from the ideas of illustration. The subject is complex, because today it is impossible to think that are 3, 4 or 20 major media that inform people. Internet changed everything, and everything is changing at a pace that not even understand the mainstream media. I also believe that what is sometimes interpreted as "pressure" or "interest" is negligence of journalists, media or pure logic that sees history as a spectacle. I'm not optimistic about the possibility of changing those rules.
P / Can you name any that you consider essential requirement should be a journalist when processing and transmitting a story?

A high school teacher always told us that most of the books were bad, but to say that you had to read them. I that young people have a willingness and ability to reflect greater than that of adults believe that their parents believe that the community leaders suspect. Should be encouraged that: read, study, discuss, criticize, fight with those who have to fight if they believe that a cause is just. The rules of play as regards the means of communication are established, will depend on absorptive capacity and responsibility of citizens to identify when data is thrown into the light or a serious investigation.
As Jews committed to our community, we must keep alive our participation, making education the main tool to educate our young people and combat the evils of modern society, such as ignorance, misinformation and lies concerned.
