Cercar Entitled to silence presents a series of photographic works, which is a part of the process of deepening artistic formal and content, in which Ignacio Llamas has been working for several years.

This work arose from the need to document a previous production in which the architectures built were enclosed in boxes. The documentary part was less important for the photographic work creative.

The two elements that are working Ignacio Llamas: space and light. Them develop a photographic language, characterized by the simplicity of the images and no color.

Once developed its own language of photography, the artist chooses not to stop here and look beyond, searching, analyzing the relationship between photography and the space around it and the hosts.

The photographic work not only has importance in itself, and much, but it is also sometimes a starting point for a broader dialogue. Mindful of his good looks can lose much of its role to link the space to set out and dialogue with the volume. Ignacio Llamas wishes to establish a link between photographs and the environment in which it is. That is why at the exhibition they are embedded in structures that take off the wall in an attempt to leave the plane boundaries and develop in space. At other times the pictures reduced in scale to the thumbnail, to explore the link between the photographic space, contained therein, and volume.

Yet this light, images, dialogues, the artist tries to transcend the visible, and through their personal metaphors, feel and approach the man's being. He advocates the viewer a journey inward, inviting him to mute outside noise through the eyes. It is a journey into the depths of the soul to seek and find the seeds of transcendence that are deposited there.

This search process takes the intangible to focus on the positive aspects of life: joy, serenity, understanding ... as well as in the negative, which is also a reality. Ignacio Llamas why dirty cast aside space objects, objects blocking the limpid spaces, and invites us to embrace them as positive, as something that helps us to develop fully.

These images are mirrors of inner worlds and apparently uninhabited spaces, able to accommodate everything. Places that hold small

tragedies, that every human being is to look within himself, in which evidence of the anxieties, troubles and fears of man. But places flooded by light builds and purifies us.

Ignacio Llamas builds its metaphors propose images of physical places. Architectural constructions in which the orthogonality is minimized by the light. That light, creating shadows, glows, shadows and spaces between vagueness is its only tenant. In this microcosm of his role makes us feel at least a double reading. On the one hand the viewer feels like image from inside his own soul, that spirit that wanders or runs his own world. And the other is perceived as a transformative element of all these painful realities, able to convert with tinted black, white and gray, in a transformative experience.

His proposal is simple: to discover, through their built spaces and abandoned objects, there are full existence, the mystery hidden. That universal that each of us carries inside.
